Do
you believe in God?
NBC
this morning had a poll on this question. They had the highest Number
of responses that they have ever had for one of their polls,
and the Percentage was this:
86%
to keep
the
words, IN God We Trust and God in the Pledge of Allegiance
14%
against
That
is a very "resounding" public response!!!
If a resounding
86% of Americans believe
in God, then I have a very hard
time understanding
why
there is such a problem in
having
"In
God We Trust"
on
our money and having
"God"
in
the Pledge of Allegiance!!!
Why
are our politicians catering to the 14%?

Actually,
while trying to validate the above claim, I found it to be untrue.

A March 2004
CNBC poll asked should the words 'Under God' be removed
from the Pledge of Allegiance of the 231,980
responses 15% said yes 85% said no.
Similarly, a
November 2005 MSNBC poll asked "Should the motto 'In
God We Trust' be removed from U.S. currency? Of the 27,862
responses given by Sept 9, 2006, 20% said yes 80% said
no,
But
neither of them actually asked,
"Do you believe in
God?"
It still seems convincing
to
me that the vast majority of Americans wish to Keep God
Alive in America!
So,
"Why
are our politicians catering to the 14%?"
"Aren't
they supposed to represent their constituents???"

God We Trust

"Dear Heavenly Father,
hold
our troops in your loving hands.
Protect
them as they protect us.
Bless
them and their families
for
the selfless acts they perform
for
us in our time of need".

stop a moment and say a prayer for all our troops around the world!
